You will be a member of the Process and Quality Governance Translation Cross Functions team at SLS. In your role, you will act as a project manager for technical cross-unit projects. For this we are looking for a project manager with a strong technical background and practical experience with agile software development methodologies.EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS- Act as project manager for technical implementation projects (development to production) on cross-unit level (example SAP BPM solution implementation at SLS) linking activities carried out by technical and consuming teams (SLS service teams).- Conduct project planning activities and manage the execution of large scale, complex technical projects according to plan considering traditional and agile project management methodologies.- Manage multiple projects or initiatives throughout various stages of the life cycle and respective dependencies.- Manage alignment with project stakeholders, including internal and external clients, keeping stakeholders informed of progress and issues in order to manage expectations on all project requirements and deliverables.- Understand functionality and interfaces of all technological components used at SLS.- Ensure planning measures with internal and external stakeholders, budget and timeline, data security and compliance, analyze risks, establish contingency plans, and trigger events and responsibilities for initiating mitigation.- Perform operational project management for the BPM implementation at SLS assisting the Technical Owner and Process Architect for Business Process Automation.- Work closely with the process stakeholders supporting process modelling and implementation activities.- Maintain project documentation and updates to relevant knowledge management bases; analyze lessons learned and share with the organizations community.- Drive decision-making processes, align and harmonize decisions across multiple perspectives.- Support respective line manager(s) in people development tasks.- Support senior management communication.- Stay up to date with latest features of relevant solutions, language technology tools and strategy.WORK EXPERIENCE- 5+ years of project management experience in large scale, high risk, and technical or development projects at least partially based on agile methodologies- 3+ years of supervisory or coaching experience in teambuilding and leading teams- Experience in working in a global environment, ideally with extensive international experience leading global virtual teamsEDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIESRequired skills- University degree, preferably in computer science, engineering or information technologies- Experience with managing technical implementation projects through all phases including ramp-up and general go-live- Proven SAP solution implementation experience, very good understanding of SAP core business processes and functions- Excellent analytical and methodical skills and competencies, especially in traditional and agile Project Management using formal PM methodology, techniques and tools- Practical experience with agile development methods like Scrum, Kanban and DevOps- Knowledge of BPMN or other Modeling Notations, SAP BPM or SAP Process Orchestration- Solid knowledge in these SAP solutions and services: SAP HANA, SAP Basis, System Landscape Optimization (SLO), SAP Business Suite- Highly developed business acumen, strong liaison and consultative skills- Very good oral and written communication skills in English, with demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical topics to management and non-technical audience- Strong mentoring, decision making and meeting facilitation skills- Business Transformation and Reengineering Experience Preferred skills- Development experience in ABAP, SAP HANA and /or for Cloud products would be an advantage- PMP certification and /or other industry and project management certifications- PhD/MBA would be an asset- Proven full life cycle implementation of SAP solution as project lead, customer facing SAP implementation experience- Language industry specific knowledge is an asset
