It's In Our Nature! JOB DESCRIPTION: Cabela's is seeking three System Engineer III's who are responsible for the planning and engineering of an organization's systems infrastructure focused around the business workflow, financial workflow, and human resources workflow. Responsibilities include the implementation and design of hardware and software along with monitoring the performance of systems, such as information technology scheduling, automation processes, financial reporting, and human resources applications. Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures in a system administration field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals while performing a variety of tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. KEY DUTIES: Administers a complex site alone or assists in the administration of a larger site. Initiates new responsibilities and helps to plan the overall future design of the site/network. Performs system audits to ensure policy and regulatory compliance. Mentors and trains System Engineers. Evaluates and/or recommends purchases; has strong influence on purchasing process.
